The Hidden Compute Crisis Threatening Microsoft’s AI Security Ambitions
According to Business Insider, Microsoft's stock has cratered 19% in a single month — its worst June since the dot-com bust — and the company is now rationing the one resource every AI security pitch depends on: compute.

The timing is grim. The same week Microsoft is previewing MAI-Cyber-1-Flash and what it calls its first agent-powered cybersecurity model, the underlying infrastructure question has moved from quarterly earnings footnote to existential math.
